This is Anne Johnson Davis' story of being a victim as a child of satanic ritual abuse. Her story has been verified by physical evidence and written confessions.

History

Anne Johnson Davis' was abused from the ages of 3 to 17. She was tortured, sexually abused and forced to hurt her siblings in satanic rituals. She went public with her story in 1995, when a study by the Utah Attorney General's Office on ritual abuse was occurring. Anne recovered her memories of abuse outside of therapy settings in her 30's. Her mother and stepfather agreed to pay for her therapy bills.

Confessions

Anne’s mother and stepfather confessed in writing to the Lieutenant Detective at the Utah State Attorney General’s Office Matt Jacobson and his partner Mike King, with Jacobson stating that he found the contents of her parents' confession letters to be true. Her mother and stepfather confessed to the leaders of the church they went to and wrote letters confessing to each of their children confirming everything in explicit detail. There was physical evidence that proved that Anne was physically abused.

In an interview, she stated: “they would go through these very formal satanic rituals and I would be abused and tortured and threatened with my life and used as a sacrifice.”

Her father wrote: "I performed the same sexual acts on you at home. The sexual acts on you at home. The sexual abuse in our home was a repeat of the ritual."

Her mother wrote: "He cut off your nightclothes and panties. A dog was hung by the back feet, throat cut and disemboweled and hind legs cut off. You were hung by your feet after being bound."

Media

Anne Johnson Davis' story has been discussed in the media in newspapers and on TV. In the 1990's she testified to the investigators of the Ritual Abuse Task Force of the Utah State Attorney General’s Office investigating ritual abuse. The Ritual Abuse Task Force of the Utah State Attorney General’s Office investigating ritual abuse report found that ritual abuse existed in Utah, but that it was difficult to prosecute. The probe took three years and cost $250,000. It was stated that the lack of prosecution of the ritual abuse reports did not mean that the reports are fictitious.
