» brokenwings - wings, copy and pasting...

In response to wings, copy and pasting... posted by sweetgrass:

Start by putting your arrow or pointer thingy, which I think is called a cursor, at the start of the first word you want to copy, ok?

Next, press down on the mouse button, the one on the left, and keep holding it down.
While you are holding down the left button on the mouse, make your arrow move across the sentence or paragraph you want and you will see it turn blue because it is highlighted. You move your arrow by either rolling the ball on your mouse or moving your finger across that pad if you are using a laptop. k?
try it.
Now, while your sentence is highlighted (blue colored)you then hit the control button (under the question mark) and while holding it down, hit the C key.
Now you have copyied it.

Now, go to the place where you want to paste the words, on a different screen. place the cursor where you want the words to appear. Now hold down the control key and hit the V key and the words should appear.

does it work?

» brokenwings - Am I abused

In response to Am I abused posted by kiki21:

Hi Kiki-- Sweetgrass has offered some very good advice. If I may add a few more thoughts:

1. You are 10 weeks pregnant. Think of that precious LIFE inside you!! You have SO MUCH to give that soon-to-be little person, but it is imperative that YOU are WELL taken care of;

2. You are so FORTUNATE to have both your parents, and they are fortunate to have YOU AND a little grandchild on the way!! As your baby grows and develops, so will the BOND that you have with your child--it can NEVER be BROKEN--nor can the bond that your parents have with YOU--you will always be a precious part of their lives--in good times as well as when things seem black and dreary for you!

Kiki, I honestly think that if you told you parents what was REALLY going on and the abuse that you are being subjected to, that they could be of enormous assistance to you and your unborn baby.
Like my Mom used to say, when I "burdened" her from time to time when I needed a little assistance--"That's what Moms are FOR--it comes with the territory! There is ALWAYS a solution."

So, in my humble opinion, I think your parents are probably more worried because your boyfriend has forced you to move and have NO contact with them, if you see what I mean.

Is there a way that you could contact them without your b-friend and his mother finding out?

Let us know how you are...there are MANY kind, concerned people on this site, as well as the site that Sweetgrass referred to, called Narcisstic Victim/Narcisstic Abuse, who have experienced what you are going through--they may have some ideas on how to better handle the situation.

HANG IN THERE!!!!!!

Best Wishes,

Wings
