» DiBender68 - Ex trying to get away with it too

I just read this article and know first hand about this. My ex tries to tell everyone that punishing our son is his right and is no one's business.... well he loves to pull the "i am being a good dad routine"......People are believing him, that don't know what is going. The social worker is even trying to make me look like the bad guy here and I am reporting the beatings to them.....I am not giving up on my kids.... NO WAY

That is a good outlook too. Never give up, someone somewhere will hear you. Again try and make some connections in your local area. Seek out support groups and ask what others have done. Somewhere in your police department or DA's office there is someone who will pick up on it and if there isn't, contact the State DA. Keep on trying. You are in our thoughts.

I talked to my lawyer today and we are going to get the custody thing going where I get residental. I have documented everything that has been going on and i keep in contact with police. My friend even spoke to social services for 20 minutes yesterday. My son and daughter need to get out of that situation, I am very leary about them spending the weekends over there when the custody thing is over. He needs serious psyhc help.

I wrote him a letter the other day and told him that he has a problem, but i know he wont fix it until he admits it.

I also told him I am not perfect and no one is. We were are not made to be perfect. I have my faults but they are a continuous work in progress. I am much better since I am not there anymore. I have dropped 75 lbs within the last year. I have more self esteem and more confident.

I feel like I can do anything i put my mind to. happy

I have filed for a reverse custody hearing for my kids. Please keep us in your prayers in here. Everyone has been a great help.

Just to update, my son was in court for domestic violence on his dad. I know it was self defense but no witnesses no proof. My son is now on 90 day probation and has to go to anger management classes! grrrrrrrrrrrr. So all he has to do is get out of line once and dad will be on the phone. I just hope that they can come live with me. If it doesn't work then I know I tried.
