I persoanlly believe that our society neds to address abuse as a whole since it does happen to both men and women. The United States fosters a belief that power is the way to live and it is not. This, of course, began with the way our country was "founded" but no steps have been taken to change it. I believe that until this can be done abuse will be a continued problem. Here on this site and on others like it we are trying to change the world we live in one life at a time. We will continue to do this by supporting and informing. -- posted by jfarris
