» chz2laf - Having faith...and keeping it
Regardless of religion here; I am referring to a spiritual faith. After what I assumed was a "relationship" that lasted over ten years I decided to reclaim me! Two small children and a shared custody arrangement in the works that will span several states. I am still trying to regain control and re-establish some of my core being which had been put aside for so long. I am confident that their father will do one of two things; learn to parent or fall on his face. The last control issue was custody. We have agreed to shared legal and physical; across so many states is difficult and ties have been established in their home state (which will retain jurisdictation until they reach majority). Faith is knowing that everything happens for a reason; lessons repeat themselves in various forms until they are learned and that by taking the high road the children will learn more about how both of us parent. This is a difficult time for me; but the cards are dealt and now I wait and see; he gets what he asked for; I get my freedom back to grow and dream and love and cherish life. Be careful what you wish for.-- posted by chz2laf
