Answers to your questions.
1) My son has been manipulated and brainwashed by her. He won't even speak to us anymore. She has managed to convince him somehow that it is ALL of us that need help and not her. And she has him convinced that it is purely out of care and concern that he nor her children need to be around any of us until WE all get help. Also, she has threatened to leave him and take the children if he speaks to us. We believe she is afraid we will undo all of her brainwashing. Not sure.

2)We are somewhat concerned that our 3 grandchildren may not be in safe hands. This conflict has happened numerous times before, and in order to keep our son with her, on his side she has went as far as threatening suicide.

3.) Not just our family, but all of our friends, as well as our son's friends dislike her. She is very verbally abusive toward our son, and myself (Mother In Law) and our other son's fiancee. Our friends and family dislike her for the disrespect she often dispalys every chance she gets (usually when we step away for a moment.) And also that she always needs to be extremely overdramatic and be the center of attention in every conversation. It annoys everyone.

Any help or advice or more than appreciated. Thank you.
